Insight meditation is the practice of moment-to-moment awareness that cultivates insight, equanimity, wisdom and compassion. When combined with feeling a part of a supportive community (sangha) and learning from both the Buddha and nature (dharma), we learn how to live in a way that is beneficial to ourselves and all life.
Stephanie’s teachings provide students and readers with ways to access their own inner wisdom. She shares the Buddha’s teachings as they apply to modern life, especially the lives of modern women. In groups and one-on-one she provides guidance for skillful meditation practice and clarity in understanding the teachings.
While there are Buddhist meditative techniques effective in meeting many challenges, Stephanie is a meditation teacher, not a mental health professional.
